1. Overview

This Shipping Policy describes how Vensale handles order processing, packaging, and shipment of products purchased on vensale.app. We partner with reliable Nigerian and international logistics providers to ensure your orders arrive securely and on time.

2. Order Processing

2.1 Processing Time

After payment is confirmed, Vensale processes your order within 1–2 business days for in-stock items. During promotions (e.g., Black Friday, Vensale sales events), processing may take up to 3 business days.

2.2 Order Verification

To protect our customers, Vensale may place some orders on hold for fraud screening or address verification. If your order is flagged, we will contact you by SMS or email. Verification is typically completed within 12 hours.

2.3 Order Modifications

Order modifications (change of address, item swap, or cancellation) can only be made before dispatch. Contact info@vensale.app as soon as possible if you need to make changes. Once dispatched, orders cannot be modified.

3. Packaging

Vensale takes care to ensure all items are securely packaged for transit within Nigeria:

• Standard items: packed in branded Vensale boxes or poly mailers with adequate cushioning
• Fragile items: bubble-wrapped and double-boxed with 'Fragile' labels for carrier attention
• Electronics: anti-static bags and foam inserts used where appropriate
• Large/bulky items: palletised or heavy-duty poly-wrapped for freight shipment

4. Shipping Partners

Vensale works with trusted logistics partners to deliver across Nigeria:

• GIG Logistics — nationwide coverage, same-day Lagos delivery
• DHL Nigeria — for premium and international shipments
• Kobo360 — for bulk and B2B deliveries
• Sendbox — for door-to-door SME fulfilment
• Kwik Delivery — for fast intra-Lagos deliveries
• RedStar Express — for nationwide corporate and residential deliveries

The assigned carrier for your order will be shown in your dispatch confirmation email, along with the tracking number.

5. Shipping Rates

5.1 Domestic Rates

Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on delivery zone, weight, and dimensions:

• Lagos (Ojo, Ajegunle, Isashi, nearby areas): ₦500 – ₦800
• Greater Lagos: ₦800 – ₦1,500 (free on orders above ₦20,000)
• South-West states: ₦1,500 – ₦2,500
• South-South / South-East: ₦2,000 – ₦3,500
• North Central / North-East / North-West: ₦2,500 – ₦5,000

5.2 International Shipping

Vensale ships selected categories internationally (diaspora gifting, export-approved goods):

• West Africa (Ghana, Benin, Côte d'Ivoire): from ₦8,000
• United Kingdom: from ₦18,000
• United States & Canada: from ₦22,000
• Other destinations: quoted at checkout

6. Customs & Duties (International Orders)

For international shipments, your parcel may be subject to customs inspection and import duties upon arrival in the destination country. Any import taxes, customs fees, or VAT levied by the destination country's customs authority are the recipient's responsibility.

Vensale is required to declare the accurate value and description of all international shipments. We do not undervalue or mislabel shipments to circumvent customs requirements.

7. Proof of Delivery

For tracked shipments, our logistics partners will provide electronic proof of delivery (ePOD) including timestamp, GPS confirmation, and where applicable, a recipient signature or photograph. If your tracking shows 'Delivered' but you have not received your order:

• Check with neighbours, security, or household members
• Check if it was left in a safe place noted in the delivery message
• Contact info@vensale.app within 48 hours of the delivery status update

8. Shipping Restrictions

Certain products are subject to shipping restrictions under Nigerian law or carrier policies:

• Flammable, corrosive, or hazardous materials — cannot be shipped by air
• Regulated electronics — may require NAFDAC or SON documentation
• Alcohol and tobacco — subject to age verification and delivery area restrictions
• High-value items (above ₦500,000) — may require additional insurance
